In 1945 at Burlington Avenue North, in Saint Petersburg, Florida, U.S.A. we decided to put our experience in rebuilding oil and gas engines to a new company. So we created Godwin-Singer Inc. for the purpose of rebuilding marine and industrial engines to an entirely operable state.
We have been at that location ever since, and we have been augmenting our experience for the past 70 years. Our owner and the two machinists that are employed in our company's premises have now over 100 years of combined experience. An experience that we put to the service of both the working men and the automotive repair shops.
Over the years many ships, automobiles, and many factories have relied upon our services as a specialized machine shop and have had their engines refurbished to a full and complete working order. The same stands true for people that had antique engines and needed them to work for whatever reason.
We handle any marine or industrial engine, oil or gas, new or old. Our time in business has resulted in a very long list of favorable testimonials and reviews, not to mention another long list of faithful customers that keep returning to us for whatever kind of rebuilding they need.
We are also very proud to call our company at the "teaching machine shop". Some of our employees have decided to build their companies after having learned the art of engine rebuilding from us.
